PRINCIPALS This new company is owned and operated by three principals who were directly involved in the initial commercialization of the CLC-6000. Brian Horsfield directed the design and manufacturing operations for the S&SP commercialization of the CLC-6000 at Weyerhaeuser. In 1992, he became the General Manager of the business, directing all marketing, sales, production and service aspects of the business until it was sold to SimuTech International. Brian provides for all technical service, installation and training functions for SimuTech. Gary Carlberg was involved in preparing and implementing the marketing and sales plan for the commercialization of the CLC at Weyerhaeuser, directing the activities of the inside and outside sales force and the overseas Agents. Now with SimuTech, Gary directs all aspects of the business operations as well as the marketing and sales efforts of the staff and overseas Agents. Edward Soule retired from Weyerhaeuser, where he was the Vice President of Commercial Development, overseeing the operations of several new business start-ups, including the CLC business. At SimuTech, Ed is the senior advisor for the business. In Japan our Agent, Nomura Shoji Co. is available to answer your questions and respond to service issues you may have. In other countries of the world, our Service Director can usually answer your questions and keep your CLC running with phone, fax or e-mail correspondence. Quality Training At the time of installation or when new staff comes on board. We also sponsor a CLC USERS FORUM at the annual TAPPI Coating Conference where new and experienced operators or scientists can share non-proprietary experience with their CLC.
