The basic CLC-6000™ — what do you get?
You get a lot more than what you see in the picture when you purchase a CLC-6000. We do this because we want to supply you with as complete a package as possible so that you can begin taking advantage of your new CLC-6000 as soon as you get it.
What is included in the CLC-6000 purchase package?
Coating blades: Coating blades are the heart of a blade coater and the CLC-6000 is no exception. You get a blade kit with blades of many thicknesses, each blade accurately machined to fit the CLC-6000 pond.
Blade Setting Tool: Because the blade is the key to good coating performance it must be removed at the end of each day and carefully cleaned. The Blade Setting Tool allows the operator to quickly and accurately install the blade at the beginning of the next day.
CLC Operator's Manual (93 pages, 13 pictures, 11 drawings): This manual is on its 5th edition. We listen carefully to our customers and expand and revise this manual when we learn something of value. After every major revision we send all our customers the latest version.
Also, this manual contains a parts list by manufacturer's part number. This means that, in those rare cases where you need to replace a part, you have the option to purchase it from your local supplier.
Starter Kit of Supplies: Included are approximately 2 years worth of the things that you will use in connection with using the CLC-6000. These supplies not only get everything off to a quick start, but also ensure that the methods and techniques are the same as used in training thus minimizing potential problems.
CLC Installation Manual: This manual contains all the information that you need to plan you CLC laboratory and to move in and install your CLC-6000 correctly. This manual contains the experience of helping 50 CLC customers install their CLCs. When we got a question that was not answered in this manual we revised it in order to include the answer.
Tool Box (approximately 100 items): Adjustments and repairs are needed from time to time. This tool box contains all the tools that you will ever need.
Machine documentation: Manuals of all the major CLC components are included as well as a complete set of electrical and pneumatic drawings.
Commissioning: It is very important that your CLC be installed correctly. An on-site inspection and testing of your CLC is a part of your CLC purchase package.
Electrical and Mechanical Training: What if something were to go wrong with your CLC? If you have people that service your other laboratory equipment, training is provided so that these people learn about all the operating systems of the CLC-6000 and how they can quickly find the solution.
Operator Training: When a company makes an investment as important as the CLC-6000 it is very important that the operators are well trained. Three to four days of training are provided (usually immediately following Commissioning), where 2 to 4 operators are trained on all aspects of operating and adjusting of the CLC-6000. All of the above items are clearly written out in our Purchase and Sale Agreement so that you can be assured of exactly what you will receive when you decide to purchase a CLC-6000.
